About the Role:
Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Youth Basketball Instructor and inspire the next generation of athletes! In this exciting role, you will teach fundamental basketball skills while fostering a love for the game in a fun and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct basketball training sessions for youth of various skill levels.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate drills and activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants.
- Monitor player progress and adjust training methods as needed.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating basketball camps and clinics.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or instructing youth basketball preferred.
- Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive demeanor.
- Passion for sports and youth development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
