About the Role:
Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Youth Basketball Instructor, where you'll inspire young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on youth sports in a fun and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct basketball training sessions for youth of various skill levels.
- Create and implement age-appropriate drills and activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their techniques.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Monitor player progress and adjust training plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss player development.
Requirements:
- Experience playing or coaching basketball, preferably at the youth level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and training techniques.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Background check clearance required.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
