About the Role:
Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Sports Management Intern Assistant and immerse yourself in the exciting world of sports programming and management. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional athletic experiences. Looking to work two office hours each day and be hands on at our after school programs, Monday-Friday between 3-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of youth sports programs.
- Driving to storage unit in Herndon, VA and managing equipment for programs.
- Support the marketing team with promotional activities and social media outreach.
- Evaluations of coaching staff.
- Working at after school programs as a sub, training coaches, or class behavior modification.
- Engage with participants and parents to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
- Screening applicants for coaching positions
- Attending college career fair booths to recruit new coaches
Seeking:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of sports marketing and event management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with social media platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for sports and a desire to learn about the industry.
- Previous experience in coaching or playing sports is a plus.
- Location preference, Herndon, Va since they will spend most of their time in this general area.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
